CHARITABLE WORK
At Loudermilk Homes, we believe that excellence should be recognized — and that it should make a difference. Each quarter, we honor one outstanding team member through our Employee of the Quarter program. This individual is chosen for exemplifying the values, work ethic, and high standards that define our company culture. As part of this recognition, the selected employee chooses a charity close to their heart, and Loudermilk Homes makes a donation in their name. It’s our way of celebrating our people while giving back to the communities we serve. Here are a few of the meaningful charities chosen by our recent Employee of the Quarter recipients.

GRADY HOSPITAL FRESH FOOD CART
Loudermilk Homes and Loudermilk Designs volunteer with the Fresh Food Cart program organized by Grady Hospital and the Grady Health Foundation.
With support from the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Bombas, the Fresh Food Cart distributes fresh vegetables, fruit and free socks to patients of Grady’s health clinics. Bombas sponsors the program as part of its “One Purchased = One Donated” pledge that has given away more than 50 million items so far.
The Fresh Food Cart has distributed more than 450,000 pounds of food through 10,000 patient visits as part of the “Food as Medicine Partnership” extension of the Jesse Hill Market Food Pharmacy.
Patients receive 20 pounds of fresh produce once or twice per month to support healthier diets and improve access to nutrient-rich food.
HANDS ON ATLANTA
Loudermilk Homes is humbled and honored to sponsor Hands on Atlanta.
Our team volunteers on food drives and food drives and food distribution projects, such as unpacking pallets of donated food and assembling bags of food for families in need. We also help with school support and e-learning projects and other activities throughout the year.
We are excited to share our knowledge of construction and maintenance work for community beautification projects, such as painting buildings, improving and maintaining playground equipment, removing trash and other debris, and other cleanup projects.
YOUTH WITH A MISSION | HOMES OF HOPE PROGRAM
Loudermilk Homes is proud to join Youth With A Mission and support their “Homes of Hope” program build houses for families living in poverty. Two homes were built in three days, touching the lives of everyone involved.
Recipient families are carefully selected by the Homes of Hope staff and genuinely need a place to live. Most are raising their kids in cardboard boxes or abandoned cars. They cannot believe that we travel to their country and work so hard to give them this lifesaving gift. This project provided faith, hope and encouragement to do good things in their community. It also inspires each one of us.
PEAK PERFORMANCE BASKETBALL
Loudermilk Homes is also a longtime sponsor and supporter of PEAK Performance Basketball, a local nonprofit athletics program with a mission of “Developing Little Girls Into Leading Women." PEAK builds up girls both on the court and off to empower and nurture them athletically, socially and academically through their basketball program. PEAK Performance teaches these girls self confidence, how to create and achieve goals, and prepare them for their chosen life paths. Sherwin Loudermilk, President & Founder of Loudermilk Homes, formerly served as Chairman of the Board for PEAK Performance.
